About the Magazine Drive
Why?
Because our amazing school is counting on us! This fundraiser’s success is crucial to supporting the current year’s operating fund and relies on our excited students, dedicated families, supportive staff and generous customers. We are so proud that sales over the last several years have exceeded $125,000. Our school gets to keep 51% of the sales! This year's goal is $128,000!
How?
It’s easy really since most households purchase magazines. Magazines provide reading materials for both children and adults AND make great gifts. By placing orders through the school, we keep 51% of the purchase price contributed. Our prices for magazines are not inflated. Even if you are already receiving a magazine, you can renew through Holy Rosary and the order will extend on your current subscription. The publisher guarantees 100% satisfaction.
How does the Magazine Drive Work?

Students and parents work together to obtain new, renewed, or gift magazine subscriptions from relatives, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Digital subscriptions are offered on some your favorite titles to be enjoyed on your e-reader or iPad. The catalog also offers many unique gift ideas if a customer is not interested in a magazine. Gift cards ($25) are also available so there is something for everyone! Catalogs with order forms, prize information and your last year’s orders are sent home with the students the first week of school.
A big kick-off assembly will be held the first Friday of school to get everyone excited about our school theme and the Magazine Drive. Orders and payments are turned into the classroom each Tuesday for the next 3 weeks. The Turn In results are announced at the end of each Tuesday and summarized in the weeks eFC.
At the end of the Drive, we will have a final assembly to celebrate our results and prizes are distributed on that day as well. See the Mark Your Calendar section below for specific days and times.
When?
Start Selling Now!
If you want to get a head start, catalogs will be available in the school office by August 30. Otherwise, they will come home with your child the first week of school.
Ask everyone to save their renewals for our school!
Need Selling Points?
- Magazines provide reading materials for both children and adults AND make great gifts.
- Don’t know what Aunt Sally or Uncle Bert reads? Gifts cards for $25 make this even easier! No problem! Just get them a gift card and let them order what they want!
- Most families purchase magazines anyway. Why not purchase through our Magazine Drive and benefit our school at the same time?

Customer Service
We work closely with our publisher, AP Hearst, to enhance your customer experience.
New subscription orders can take up to 12 weeks to get started after the end of our Drive. Renewals will begin at the end of your subscription without interruption.
Customers can check the status of their order online by going to the AP Hearst website and clicking on “Check Order Status”. You will need your receipt order number (found in the upper corner of your paper receipt), name and zip code. You can also check the status of your order by calling Customer Service at 800-284-9711 or emailing them at .
